BETASEED, INC. announces a 2018 Scholarship Winner in the Western Sugar South area. Ashlynn Haun was awarded a $500 Scholarship. Mike Marker, sales representative with Betaseed, presented the check.

Ashlynn graduated this spring and will be attending Kansas State University to pursue a degree in Interior Design and Leadership. Ashlynn is the daughter of Chris and Alena Haun. Chris and his father Chuck farm near Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Ashlynn is a member of 4-H and is actively involved many school and community activities.

Betaseed awards annual scholarships to students to help further their college education. The scholarship committee selected Ashlynn based on the essay she submitted on “The History and Future of Sugarbeets”. Betaseed is proud to support the region’s youth and wishes Ashlynn a very successful college career.
