BETASEED, INC. announces a 2017 Scholarship Winner in the Western Sugar South area. Carli Cullan was awarded a $500 Scholarship. Brian Specht, sales representative with Betaseed, presented the check.

Carli Cullan graduated from Hemingford High School and will be attending the University of Nebraska- Lincoln to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy. Carli is the daughter of Chris and Joei Cullan, who farm near Hemingford, Nebraska.

Betaseed awards annual scholarships to students to help further their college education. The scholarship committee selected Carli based on the essay she submitted on “The History and Future of Sugarbeets”. Betaseed is proud to support the region’s youth and wishes Carli a very successful college career.
