The variety offers high sugar content combined with good foliar disease tolerance for both Rust and Powdery Mildew, with limited data suggesting excellent Downy Mildew resistance.
Internal and Recommended List trials data over several years suggests that BTS 1140 should be sown in the normal to later drilling period on farm."
